Ronen Lev is a New York based architecture and interior design studio founded on the notion that good design, thoughtfully curated, makes life better. In addition to its practice, Ronen Lev aims to make that philosophy accessible to all through product recommendations and interviews with notable makers.
“Nothing more, nothing less.”
Ronen Lev was founded by Jessica Wilpon Kamel, a designer and Interior architect with a background in online retail. She has a BFA in Art History and Painting from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture and Design from Pratt Institute. She has studied Textile Design at The Danish Design School in Copenhagen and Curatorial Studies at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy.
After completing her Master, she worked as an Interior Architect for former Zaha Hadid director, Markus Dochantschi, at StudioMDA. In 2008 she cofounded Edition01, an e-commerce startup that produced apparel and product collaborations among leading designers in beauty and fashion. Through Edition01 she collaborated with dozens of brands and creators, including One Kings Lane, Counsel of Fashion Designers in America (CFDA), Dempsey & Carrol, Ferragamo, Martin Greenfield Clothiers, Goop, Harper’s Bazaar, Style.com, Paul Kasmin Gallery, Saks Fifth Avenue, Zac Posen, Donna Karan and more. Her work at Edition01 has been featured in Vogue Magazine, Elle, L’Officiel, NYT, Vogue UK, WWD, R29, Instyle and WSJ.
Ronen Lev was founded in 2016. The Sourcebook was conceived as the smart, selective, modern interiors sourcebook she realized was missing from the online space. Ronen and Lev are her children’s names.
