Kim Bench

Luca Nichetto

$2,245.00

For his Nichetto collection for De La Espada, Luca Nichetto has been reimagining the design language of 1950s American furniture. Kim, a family of nested items including two tables and a bench, is a case in point. Available as a set or as stand alone pieces, the three items in the Kim family share common materials, while each having their own distinct form. Simple but with a strong sense of character, Kim’s finished wooden surfaces straddle the boundaries between the natural and the manmade. Designed by Luca Nichetto and manufactured by De La Espada for the Nichetto brand.

PP266 Chinese Bench

Hans Wegner

$8,600.00 - $9,768.00

Feeling quite confident about the strength and agility of his iconic Chinese Chair design, Wegner was bold enough to develop the construction by designing a bench, thus creating an even stronger character. For Wegner this is the only example of this kind of progression of shape and design, from wooden armchair to bench, and thus the Chinese Bench remains a unique and extraordinary accomplishment.
